Note height and width of:
Windows (width, height and height from the floor)
Doors (door width and height)
Outlets and switches
Air returns
Light Fixtures/Openings
Ceiling Height

DRAW A ROUGH SKETCH OF YOUR ROOM

This can be very rough and does not need to be a work of art. Use a pencil and make sure your measurements are accurate.

A long tape measure, ~25' is best.

Measure the overall length and width of room from baseboard to baseboard.

Don't forget the ceiling height!
