After several years in California, my family made the decision to move back to the New York area to be closer to family. It was not an easy decision! I love California. But let me tell you… I really love Westchester-it feels like home. I thought I’d share my love of Westchester with you by highlighting a few of my favorite local spots. Let’s kick it off with something I am extremely passionate about – FOOD! Here are some of my favorite places to grab a bite in Westchester.
Burrata is a fantastic dinner spot. Located in Eastchester, they serve delicious artisanal wood fired pizza and fresh pasta – but my favorite dish is the Agnolotti! Short rib filled pasta, butter, aged balsamic, piave, and toasted bread crumbs… my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Westchester is home to a lot of people who have moved from NYC, and that means everyone has an opinion about bagels. I love Brooklyn Bagels in Mamaroneck. The bagels are delicious, they have great options for spreads, and most importantly, they have a rainbow bagel that my son is always begging for! As an interior designer, sometimes I grab a quick iced coffee and everything bagel with scallion cream cheese before my client installs.

Another place I love to frequent is Meraki Taverna in Armonk. They have excellent Greek cuisine! Everything is so fresh – we love to go here with friends. Here’s us having a great time with some friends visiting from California! It’s also great because since we have so many clients in Armonk and Chappaqua, its so easy to hop on over for a bite to eat here. It feels like you are in Greece, but in Westchester!

Last but certainly not least – Colombian House is a great Latin American restaurant. Delicious corn style empanadas, great dishes, and large portions. Such a fun vibe and drinks!
